Interests and Topics

Understand the structure Treeved uses to organize your Vault.

Interests and Topics give your Vault a simple shape. Use them like shelves and sections, not like a perfect filing system.

Interests

An Interest is a broad area you care about. Examples: marketing, health, psychology, product, finance, or writing.

Topics

A Topic sits inside an Interest. It should be narrow enough that saved items inside it feel related. For example, inside marketing you might have positioning, launches, customer research, or pricing.

Untracked interests

An untracked interest is still part of the Vault, but it is a quieter place. Use it for material you want to keep without making it one of your active areas.

Create, rename, delete

In the Vault sidebar, you can create Interests, create Topics, rename either one, and delete them. Deleting an Interest removes everything inside it. Deleting a Topic removes that Topic and its saved items.

How to choose

Keep names plain. Use the words you would naturally search for later. If you are not sure where something belongs, save it first and clean up your Vault after a few items collect around the same idea.
