Ved

Ved is the assistant inside Treeved. Use it when you want to ask a question, find related sources, summarize a page, a interest or a topic, or filter a YouTube feed.

What Ved is

Ved works with your saved material and the page you currently have open. It is most useful when you want to connect what you are reading now with things you saved before.

/search

Use /search to find related saved content. If you use it with no extra prompt in the extension, Ved searches using the open page. If you attach an Interest or Topic, Ved searches inside that area.

/ask

Use /ask to ask a question about the current page or an attached item. If you attach a saved item, highlight, Interest, or Topic, Ved uses that as the main context for the answer.

/summary

Use /summary to summarize the open page. If you attach an Interest or Topic, Ved can summarize that collection. This command does not summarize a single saved item or a highlight.

/filter

Use /filter on a supported YouTube feed page to keep matching videos visible and hide the rest. Use /filter clear to remove the filter.

Attached context

In the extension, drag an Interest, Topic, saved item, or highlight into Ved. The next command uses that attachment. This lets you search inside a Topic, ask about one saved item, or find sources similar to one highlight.
